School Regulations and Guidelines

  • School Hours: The school day commences promptly at 8:50 a.m. All students are required to be within the school premises no later than 8:45 a.m. The school operates from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a designated lunch break from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  • Punctuality and Attendance: Students arriving late must obtain a "Permission Card" from the Principal before joining their classes. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for academic progress and discipline.

  • Uniform and Appearance: Students are expected to wear the prescribed school uniform on all school days and maintain a neat and tidy appearance, including appropriate hairstyles. Jewellery made of gold and other valuable items are not permitted on the school premises.

  • Valuables and Belongings: Students are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings. The school management cannot be held liable for any loss or damage.

  • Electronic Devices and Vehicles: Cell phones, mopeds, and scooters are strictly prohibited within the school campus. Students are advised to adhere to this regulation for a focused and conducive learning environment.

  • Vendor Policy: Students are not permitted to purchase any items from vendors outside the school campus during school hours.

  • Language and Behaviour: English is the sole language of communication within the school premises. Students are expected to exhibit good manners and respectful behaviour towards teachers and fellow students at all times.

  • Section Allotment: The school reserves the right to allocate sections to students at its discretion.

  • Parental Responsibilities:

    • Parents must sign and return progress reports promptly after each examination.
    • Attendance at Parents-Teachers Meetings is mandatory to facilitate communication between parents and teachers.
    • Parents are requested to refrain from entering classrooms during school hours without prior permission from the school office.
    • Concerns or grievances should be addressed directly to the Principal or Correspondent, rather than teachers or other parents.
    • Parents must notify the school office of any changes to their contact information or residential address.
  • Leave Policy: Parents may sign leave applications for absences of three days or less. For longer absences due to illness, a medical certificate must be provided.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Persistent irregularity or lack of punctuality may result in disciplinary action by the school management. Additionally, misconduct such as irregular attendance, disobedience, vandalism, or misuse of social media platforms will be addressed accordingly.
  • Transfer Certificate: Transfer certificates will only be issued upon clearance of all outstanding fees. Applications submitted after 31st May will incur fees for one term.
  • Parental Cooperation: Parents are encouraged to offer their full cooperation and support to the school management to ensure the well-being and academic success of their children.
  • Purpose of Rules: These regulations are established to maintain a conducive learning environment and foster self-discipline among students. It is through adherence to these guidelines that students can truly embody the qualities of a successful citizen.
